CW1GM – IMD

IMD – 2008

We certainly like the use of the ladder as a support for an HF beam. Shows the true pioneering spirit of the Radio Amateur, we all use what we have to hand and just wish we had thought of it first hi hi. The owner of the truch had better not sell it as it is the prime support of the ‘tower’.

Also good to see the proverbial fight with the frame tent. We do it every year here too when we work our other special event stations like GB2VWJ at the Cornwall VW Owners Club, Jamboree. Every time we all seem to forget how it goes but eventually it goes up hi hi.

Nice to see so many helpers and a few youngsters there too.
