Join the CVWOC

To join the Club all you have to do is print the following application form out, complete it fully including your e.mail address if you have one and return it with your cheque/postal order in the correct amount to the membership secretary.

Our membership year is oin a rolling basis so join in April you renew agin the following April. This has been done to ensure your discounted insurance deals are valid as some brokers stipulate that to get a discount your membership needs to be annual so joining at a haly year could make any insurance invalid.

We hope to see you soon at an event and if you are a water cooled enthusiast what are you waitng for join the club and promote your side of the hobby from within.

Although the vast majority of our meetings are in Cornwall, we do have members from all over the Country and anyone regardless of where they live are more than welcome to join. We go to many of the major VW shows throughout the year so you can always find our pitch and come along to say hello or come and camp in the club members area at the Jamboree.

CVWOC is a member Club of the Association of British VW Clubs (ABVWC), a national body which links VW clubs from all over the UK. Through the Association, more discounts are available to CVWOC members, many of whom have already taken advantage of the discounted car insurance & RAC/AA membership.

The Club publishes a bi-monthly newsletter providing a non electronic means of communication with all club members, there are also free Wanted and For Sale adverts for all members. When you join the club you will receive a club sticker, membership card and membership file which contains more free gifts and details of the club contacts, discounts scheme and in which you can keep your newsletters.

When you join, why not email or send us a photo and a bit about your car? We are always looking to feature club cars in the newsletter and on this websites.

Whilst oin the subject of E.Mail addresses please make sure ypu provide us with a live address and that when you write it down be very careful to make it clearly legible as each year we tend to land up with around 20 unusable addresses in our database.

We offer a wide range of social events that are held on a monthly basis, such as Camping Weekends, Quiz nights, Bowling, Sunday Cruises, we even have a Christmas Party. Families with children are also most welcome, above all we offer a friendly atmosphere. If you are thinking about becoming a member why not come along to a meeting first to see what we’re all about?
